THE GOVERNMENT WANTS YOUR OPINION ABOUT COVID PASSPORTS

A good friend of the blog has forwarded a link to a "call for Evidence" published by the Cabinet Office of the British Government. The government is "inviting" input regarding a "review" they are carrying out over the issue of "Covid-Status Certification". And you, dear reader, are invited to participate.

In plain English, the question they are asking is : what do you think about the idea of Covid Passports? I say let's tell them. [CLICK HERE for the Covid-Status Certification Review]

We need to get a couple of things straight. I have no illusions about what motivates this invitation. Unless you are in the billionaires club, when the government asks for your opinion, they have two purposes in mind. First, they want to know how much opposition they will face when going ahead with a decision they have already made in secret. Second, they want to know the nature of the opposition they will face, so that dissenting voices can be silenced or discredited in advance.

After nearly a year of denials, we are spectating on the exposure of yet another sordid government lie. Yet another "conspiracy theory" is about to become true, and be enshrined in the law. Covid Passports will be implemented, and you better believe it. For once, I greet the latest government U-Turn with optimism. My personal opinion is that this will be a disaster for the Covidians because the utter chaos of attempting to micro-manage every human interaction in the country with smartphones (infallible and perfect -not)  and constant physical Covid testing (which is worse than useless) is a farcical fantasy. So let's demonstrate that we know better.

SPEAK YOUR MIND

The CC "review" we understand, is, on its face, free market-research for the Covidian social-engineers, and the temptation is to dismiss it as a  PR/box-ticking exercise. But, as there appear to be a few precious days still left before the needle-and-mask goon squad kick our doors down, why not put an oar in the dirty water of the Johnson regime?  This is, in a sense, a window of opportunity.

All submissions will go directly to the cabinet office and will become part of the official record. By making our own contributions to the "review", while taking good care to copy and publish them elsewhere, we can place our arguments / dissent on the historical record. In the aftermath of the coming Covid Certificaton nightmare, the government will not be able to claim they were not warned -as the evidence will be preserved. Such evidence can -and I predict will- be used in court in the inevitable slew of lawsuits that will arise from the catastrophic problems that CC will create.

HOW IT STARTS

Our input is (allegedly) welcome on a range of aspects of Covid Certification issues...

"The government is looking to consider the ethical, equalities, privacy, legal and operational aspects of a potential certification scheme, and what limits, if any, should be placed on organisations using certification."

Note the peculiar mindset of the current government revealed above ...what limits, IF ANY should be placed on organisations using certification. Clearly, the idea that "organisations" could operate certification restrictions without any limits is on the table. Well that's fine, isn't it? If the corner shop won't let you in without a vaccine passport and a negative Covid test within the last 24 hours they'll go bust in a week -more fool them.

WHERE IT GOES

But what if Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury's, Lidl & the Coop announce you can't get in their -oh so essential- food cathedrals without the Covid Passport, the mask & the recent negative test? If they can operate restrictions "without limits" what if, in 2022, they decide you need to strip and be showered in, say,  the Tesco Covid Cleansing Area before entry?  Is that okay with you, maskholes? Are you content with a minimum-wage Tesco employee overseeing your daughter's privacy while she undresses in the sterile supermarket changing room? Perhaps you may wish to email the cabinet office and suggest limits should be placed on organisations using Covid-Status Certification.

The link to the cabinet office CC review is there to use and your input is invited. There are guidlelines regarding specific viewpoints from e.g. business owners, researchers, academics etc. but "individuals" are welcome (or at least allowed) to contribute. As you may know already, 99EndOf puts the individual first and last, always.

 LET THEM KNOW

However cynical and insincere this invitation is, if we do not take the opportunity to state our case, in the struggles to come we cannot claim to have given our best. Have a look at the Covid Certification review page here : COVID -STATUS CERTIFICATION  REVIEW    and ask yourself if you have something relevant to say.

You don't have to write a long, detailed essay (I certainly will but I doubt I'll be thanked for it). In the government's own words : Responses do not need to be exhaustive - we welcome short responses that provide relevant comments.

If you have a relevant comment, then here's your chance. No need to be abusive or vitriolic : save that for the speakeasy.  We've got until Monday 29th.

What have you got to lose, and what have you got to say?
