Zero Diesel : Europe is Running on Empty

When the first petrol panic appeared the public reaction was very British: we queued, gritted our teeth at the price and filled up anyway. After two years of Covid we had fewer teeth to grit, but old bulldogs just keep on chewing. It was tiresome, inconvenient and expensive, but then, so is everything else. Coping, after all, has become a full-time occupation in our formerly free country. But the imminent drought may be like nothing most of us have ever experienced. Very soon, there could be practically no diesel in Europe.

A lack of diesel might not sound like a particularly dire prospect if you don't happen to drive a vehicle. There is, however, a whole lot more to diesel than getting grandad's Volvo to the Tesco Metro. Here is John Cooper, director general of Fuels Europe explaining why diesel matters: "Governments have a very clear understanding that there is a clear link between diesel and GDP, because almost everything that goes into and out of a factory goes using diesel." Let that sink in; almost everything. Cooper doesn't mention it, but the same goes for every engine on every farm, and every fishing boat, ferry, cruiser and tanker.

"For some fishing vessels it is approaching the tipping point where it is not viable to embark on a fishing trip," said Barrie Deas, CEO of the UK's National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations.

And as you might expect, three-quarters of all commercial road transport -which puts food on the shelves- runs on diesel.

The same numpties who believed in the state-sponsored corona-plague will doubtless believe the evil Vladimir Putin is to blame for the disappearance of diesel; I don't doubt the BBC will be selling that fairy story 24/7. The truth is, before a single sanction had been placed on Russian fuel imports, the price of diesel in the EU had already climbed to a thirty-year high.

Compunding the issue, global diesel stocks were already at the lowest seasonal level since 2008 because a series of  refineries were shut down during the start of the Covid hysteria. Many never re-opened.  Here is just one more example of the grim consequences of the Lockdown scam: when the traffic stopped rolling, refineries went bust. As a result, the world's oil and gas supplies (like all wealth) became concentrated in fewer hands than ever before.

The refinery shutdowns were, of course, a calculated exercise in pursuit of the entirely factitious Green Agenda, which is a Great Reset smokescreen specifically designed to pauperise the middle-class in all western countries. Remember, there is no shortage of actual fuel, but without a steady supply of it, everything that makes our society tick starts going to pieces.

COAL WAR

As April 2022 began, so did a ban on Russian coal, announced EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as if something wonderful had been achieved. The EU was previously the biggest single customer of Russian coal. Oil and gas sanctions will, she promises, follow immediately. None of this will make the slightest difference to the outcome of the Ukraine war or affect the Russian economy in any meaningful way. Russia has already cut back on processing oil, and will simply sit on its reserves until the customers reappear -which they will, once the finance vultures have scoooped up the bones of the newly-dead industries now primed for failure all across Europe. The only guaranteed consequence of the sanctions will be a huge spike in oil and gas prices in the EU. (Which includes us, like it or not).

For some strange reason, our own government -which had for months been spouting dire predictions that heating and energy prices were poised to rise astronomically- is now 100% behind the policies that will guarantee that very thing (cos "Ukraine" of course).

Note the artistry with which public consent is manufactured. First, you get the Ukraine flags flying (next to last year's NHS rainbow) then a gory helping of "war crime" propaganda has everybody weeping into their cornflakes, and when the eye-watering price-hikes (which you contrived) arrive...well, it was Vlad wot dun it!

In reality, both the rising prices and the soon-to-be desperate shortage of diesel have been engineered on purpose by the US, NATO and the EU -with, of course, the slavish cooperation of the British government. (Remember how we "left" the EU? Oh yes we did. Oh no we didn't.)

Make no mistake, the next big phase of the Great Reset is rolling into view, and this one will wipe out companies that were once household names, and add millions more to the unemployed register.

About half of Europe's diesel comes from Russia, the other half from the middle east. The quality of middle-eastern products, however, often falls far below the 'clean-energy' regulations Johnson, Macron and the rest of the Reset stooges ushered in with their New Green Dream, and cannot be used in European engines. See how neatly that works?

I watched as many people I once thought were relatively smart turned mental cartwheels to convince themselves the 'global pandemic' was real. I look forward to the hearing same gullible chumps explain away the deliberate, calculated destruction of what remains of our economy - carried out by the very same corrupt globalist regimes.

Vitol is one of the biggest energy traders in the global marketplace, and their CEO Russell Hardy warned earlier this week that the current shortage looks set to trigger "diesel rationing" in Europe. Many European ports are already refusing to allow Russian tankers to dock, meaning that even diesel already paid for is not reaching the continent, and there will be no Russian oil coming for the foreseeable future. Britain has only two major processing plants and both are close to empty. (source: OilPrice.com)

This is not a vague, theoretical problem somewhere conveniently far off in the future. Europe is stood on an economic cliff-edge. It may appear to be happening in slow-motion, but, as we learned in 2020, when the Reset crew start rolling, things can get mighty crazy damn quick.
