What Does Your Democracy Look Like?
Democracy is in terrible danger, reports the media in every country, to the surprise of nobody, anywhere. The Italian public figured out democracy was screwed 2000 years ago, when Emperor Caligula tried to appoint his horse Incitatus to the Senate. That was the tail-end of Roman civilisation and we are facing the onset of a similar drama. With increasingly ridiculous creatures infesting politics, the democratic illusion is melting faster than a climateer’s iceberg. The omens are unmistakable and the curtain is poised to come down. Where on earth do they find these goons?
At least a few million Americans have noticed that the slovenly Senator for Pennsylvania is severely mentally handicapped. At the top of the US electoral tree, the Vice President is a brainless diversity hire, while the President is a cabbage on life-support.
Britain’s joke Prime Minister is a very small, very greedy Asian billionaire, loathed by the public and his own party. France is run by a well-schooled agent of the Rothschild family who married his own schoolteacher.
Scotland’s first Minister is a creepy muslim racist who thinks wearing a kilt is funny. Ireland’s top dog is a gay Asian twerp about as Irish as Ghandi. Canada’s reptilian PM is a supply-teacher with a drama degree who got the job from his dad.
Democracy is in danger? More like face down in the toilet with a plunger up its arse. Not one of the individuals listed above is a genuine politician; without exception they are imposters who slithered into government seeking wealth and power. I don’t know where Australia, New Zealand and the rest of europe source their premiers but I expect you can pick one up cheap at the WEF.
NOT WORKING
Comedians like these are just about tolerable so long as our societies function. But that is no longer the case. The west is floating on an oily sea of imaginary money. The post-covid landscape is smouldering. The tattered remains of both America and Britain -the english-speaking democracies which built the ‘free west’- have been expertly flooded with third-world freeloaders and ex-colonial crooks ready and willing to game the democratic system. It’s democracy for the poor and anarchy for the elite -and that’s the way they like it. Presidents and Prime Ministers did this by working from within -crooked, amoral puppets who betrayed whole countries for a king’s ransom. But the writing was on the border-walls a long time ago; too much power held in too few hands.
FAMILY AFFAIRS
Controlling the USA has been very much a family affair for over half a century. In the 1960’s, the Kennedys -a clan of ruthless bootleggers who flourished during prohibition- were briefly positioned for a potential decade of power until a timely assassination opened the doors to the Bush crime family. Three generations of dedicated graft secured that tribe two Presidents and 12 years of oligarchy. Ex-president Bill Clinton’s attempt to hustle his wife into the White House in 2016 was thwarted in the last ditch by Donald Trump. It’s no secret in Washington that the farcical Biden regime has been effectively Barack Obama’s third term, and a persistent rumour says his wife Michelle is being pressurised to step into Biden’s shoes for Dems v Trump round 2. It’s not who you know but who you are, and you keep it in the family if you can. “It’s not personal, Mikey, it’s just business”-Sonny Corleone/The Godfather.
Britain, by contrast, clung to something vaguely resembling elective democracy while the American mobs were busy carving up the postwar Stateside action. But the payback clock was ticking. Bankrupted by the colossal American loans that kept the Third Reich from the door, the United Kingdom tottered along with a plausible imitation of its former self until the 1990’s. The game was up after Tony Blair sold the remnants of UK infrastructure down the river to foreign interests, and opened the doors to allcomers. The narrow-eyed dragon of “globalism” lifted its horny head over the western parapet.
Occupying the position of Prime Minister for just long enough to finish the job, Blair’s financial hatchet-man and successor Gordon Brown took the hatchet to Britain’s faint hopes of economic independence by first crashing the price of gold, then selling the entire reserve at rock-bottom price. It looked moronic at the time and downright imbecilic now. I will return to that issue in a future post, but for now, readers might wish to cast a thoughtful eye on the table below.
Notice which country does not appear on this table? If you think gold reserves mean nothing, think again. Gold is where the real power-players go when economic collapse looms on the horizon.
OLIGARCHY OR WHAT?
If America and Britain are 21st century democracies what on earth would oligarchies look like? The chasm between rulers and ruled -allegedly narrowed after the French and Russian revolutions- has re-opened on an undreamed-of scale, with a handful of corporate families now firmly in control of most earthly resources worth stealing. Buttressed in the global markets by an eager new tech-tribe, the unholy trinity of Arab kings, european bankers and Yankee tycoons occupy a financial realm that might as well be the stratosphere for anyone expecting the fruits of trickledown.
Post-democratic Britain appears to be run by about fifteen conflicted people -all of them foreign- while the other 67 million sit on their hands trying to guess what’s going on. If the pantomime villains of left and right were ever seriously pursuing ideologies, those long ago vanished beneath the slippery blob of Britain’s Uniparty. What passes for ‘political debate’ is a cannibal orgy where policies get swapped faster than a millennial hot-wife. For the undecided voter there is only one lesson to learn: nothing a cabinet minister says can be believed, ever.
Perhaps sensing the existential danger discovered by the Prime Minister last week, British democracy has swerved to the east, as the capital city approaches peak diversity. Judging by the horrific scale of London’s riotous protests, I’m guessing Israeli commandoes must have occupied Hyde Park and Mossad hitmen are shooting Imams in Charing Cross Road. I used to hang out in those places in the 1980’s when the Irish did the bombing and it was alright to be white. It never occurred to me I’d be looking back thinking ah, those were the days.
BEWARE INCOMING
We should have seen this coming. For ambitious gangsters, the only way is up. The brains behind the IRA found their way into government, as have the dozens of Asian ‘entrepreneurs’ who now grace Britain’s mayorships, councils, and parliament itself with their presence. While we’re box-ticking, let’s not forget stellar black high-achievers like Kwasi Kwarteng, the Chancellor for ten minutes, the permanent wall-fixture known as Dianne Abbott and unrepentant would-be acid-attacker, Claudia Webbe MP. Every one as British as Winston Churchill. I have already described our current crop of Asian political cuckoos in depth, in the two-part series The Visitors Who Stole Britain -to read, click HERE and HERE. Where creative democratic output is concerned, diversity certainly has been our strength.
In the pioneering spirit that underpins democracy, America has blazed its own dusky trail where elevating the least able is concerned. Not content with electing the brain-damaged and senile, since 2014 the US Congress has featured a band of diverse but fiercely racist airheads nicknamed ‘the squad’, headed by ex-barrista Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. Unforgettably described as the “only waitress in history that brings nothing to the table”, this barely-literate skivvy sums up the Washington intersectional shit-show.
The worst of the bunch, Ilhan Omar (bottom right) married her own brother in an immigration scam, but somehow remains in Congress. That ain’t democracy, dude.
Amusing as they are, such open displays of contempt for the public are mere window-dressing. It is in deep in the dark, administrative forest of government that democracy vanishes without trace. Most of the USA is actually controlled by the legion of unelected appointees who run the alphabet agencies : NSA, CDC, FBI, etc. The list is beyond endless. The British equivalents -MI6, NHS and so on, report directly to the collective swamp known as the Civil Service long, long before they will ever exchange so much as an email with a Prime Minister.
On both sides of the Atlantic there is a vast network of bear-traps and impenetrable cliques which insulate globalist policy from the whims of politicians naive enough to attempt a genuine reset. Here was the disconnect that shocked and hobbled Donald Trump following his election, when he was astonished to find the real levers of power still tantalisingly out of reach. Every British PM finds themself equally shackled on entering the exhibition centre called number 10 Downing Street.
We saw a perfect example of this in real time when last week’s Islamist London bunfight filled the front pages. Our (unelected) PM squawked out a hasty and embarassingly bad speech, while the civil-servants scrambled to come up with an appropriate deflection. Right on cue, according to “media sources” some “good news” was released for public consumption: namely, that “Islamist hate preachers” WILL be banned from entering the country. Immigration officials (anonymous ones we can’t interrogate when the lie grows cold) WILL be “making a list” of potential troublemakers from places like Afghanistan, Indonesia and Pakistan. [See THIS ARTICLE].
My word, making a naughty list, eh? It’s enough to send shivers down your machete. I have capitalised the word “WILL” for readers, because “WILL” is doing all the heavy lifting in this press-release official government report. Connoisseurs of oliprop (oligarch propaganda) may remember WILL from classics like “We WILL cut illegal immigration by summer / by half / by Xmas 2099”.
There is a danger attached to democracy, but it’s not Islam or the far-right. The danger is that the ridiculous sham they call democracy will be revealed for the theatrical production it has been for over fifty years. The problem for voters is not the perversion of the electoral process -that’s already done and dusted. When enough people realise the collapse cannot be halted, voters simply stop voting. The problem is confronting the practical alternatives -which will, sooner or later, be unavoidable. As the Romans knew, when the plebs have no reason to believe in politics, they will find other, faster ways to change things.
