NATO V Russia : Nuclear Poker: This Game Will Not End Well

Last week Vladimir Putin was arranging free elections for the pro-Russian regions Ukraine is (allegedly) defending. America's response was another $4 billion bribe to stop Ukraine negotiating for peace. Putting aside the media folklore about Russian 'retreats' and the BBC's daily Ukranian 'breakthrough bombshell', this whole charade is nearing its peak. The west has been raining cash upon President Zelensky's head for six months -and now all the cards are on the table. Putin has brought in conscription. What happens next is inevitable.

I wonder sometimes if anyone in Fleet Street or the Twitterverse has read a single history book. The horror-story unfolding in Ukraine is so predictable that British 'news headlines' on the subject appear childishly absurd -to anyone with a vague idea of how wars proceed. On the other hand, if you've ever worked for a newspaper, you understand that ignorant compliance is the default positions of 99% of  journalists. In times of war, as George Orwell informed the world, British journalism ceases to exist.

We are, in case you hadn't noticed, in a time of war right now. Up to our necks in it, to be precise.  Never in my lifetime have I witnessed such arrant garbage spewing from the media, as the combined forces of TV, radio, print, Google, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter obsessively sneer, taunt and jeer at the Russian leader's determination to halt the NATO stealth-war machine.

There is as almost no intelligent analysis of this in the press, but pages of bilge from scribbling cheerleaders who seem to think of their readers as football fans, eager to chant insults and wave  scarves. The entire cohort of loudmouthed morons that feed on the globalist media payroll are dutifully churning out their anti-Russian propaganda as instructed. It seems that no fiction is too inane to make its way into print. In recent weeks I've read that Putin is 'dying of cancer' and 'hopelessly ill' and his demise -and that of the Russian military, is almost within reach. Because of plucky little Ukraine.

STICKS AND STONES

I've also heard that the Russian premier is 'desperate' and 'bluffing' and 'rambling' and 'incoherent'. Woah, tiger. Who are these journalistic buffoons trying to kid? Has anyone at the BBC, the Times or the Guardian taken a look at the leaders of the 'Free World' recently? President Joe Biden can barely walk upright and literally drools while mumbling in public. Justin Trudeau confronts his public with the startled pout of a  fifteen year-old caught trying on his mother's underwear. Britain's newly-knitted PM is a twitching sparrow who belongs behind the perfume counter at a minor airport.

Putin is the sole convincing adult in this tableau of clowns. No WEF goon is writing Putin's speeches, which are usually the most coherent heard on the global stage. He is certainly intelligent, cunning and no doubt ruthless when required. He impresses as a genuine leader, dancing to no-one else's tune. So much so, that the western media seem obsessed with the desire to belittle him. It's hard to interpret this obsession as anything other a collective expression of the weakness at the heart of the NATO alliance. The dirty secret -that Biden, Trudeau, Macron and Truss are puppets on strings- appears to be preying on their tiny minds.

I have a suspicion we would encounter rather less pro-Ukraine sentiment if the general public of the US and UK had any realistic overview of the political map, where the prongs of NATO can be seen approaching Russia from three directions. From a Russian perspective, this has already gone far enough, and Putin will have no problem marshalling the support of his own people -as the 300,000 -man call-up demonstrates.

IGNORANCE WAS BLISS

Unfortunately, ignorance is a problem not confined to TV studios and newsrooms. Two entire generations of western Europeans have been raised with a delusional outlook that (a) wildly exaggerates the importance of their own countries and (b) conceals the harsh truth about who controls the balance of power. At the heart of the delusion is the terrible fiction that was sold to the Anglo/American populations after world war two. The outrageous lie was that "WE" -the Brits and Yanks- had 'beaten' the Germans.

In reality, the Russian army did 80% of the heavy lifting in WW2, and it was the Russian people which endured the lion's share of suffering and death. The Red Army's relentless drive of revenge pushed the Nazis hundreds of miles backwards from the gates of Moscow all the way to the German border.  At which point, the vast financial clout of the USA rolled in to mop up the pieces. Rule number one of European warfare: nobody defeats Russia -ever.

To accept this uncomfortable reality does not in anyway diminish the courage and conviction of the British during world war two. Nevertheless, Britain emerged intact through two enormous strokes of luck. One was that Hitler made the fatal error of waging war upon Russia without first invading  England. The second was that Britain had the smartest of all the world leaders as Prime Minister. Winston Churchill, as fate would have it, was both a superlative military professional with phenomenal personal qualities; a one in a million five-star maverick -and a supremely well-connected product of the global elite. We look in vain for another; he was unique.

Yet several commentators on our media dunghill have actually drawn comparisons between Winnie and the smirking globalist marionette who prances for the cameras in Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a third-rate actor; a TV comedian who owes his political career to one thing only:  accepting colossal bribes to allow the American military/industrial complex to creep ever closer to the Russian border. The so-called 'attack' on Ukraine was a response to unending provocation; the Russian dictator drawing a line in the sand, exactly as the wolves of NATO intended. Like it or not, Putin's actions have been both necessary -for Russia's survival- and relentless in their strategic logic. [Read about the REAL ZELENSKY- CLICK HERE]

BEWARE THE PROXY POX

We have arrived at the turning point of this ghastly proxy war. Mainstream media nonsense about Ukranian 'breakthroughs' and 'advances' are propaganda fluff on a par with the WMD fantasies of the George Bush War On Terror. Ukraine's phantom 'resistance' consists almost entirely of a tsunami of rockets bought with money wrenched from the pockets of western taxpayers. (As with the War On Terror and Covid, the War On Russia disguises yet another major redistribution of western wealth -from the bottom to the top.)

Down on the ground, all the disputed territories formerly held by Ukraine are now at the Red Army's mercy. The thirteen American-run chemical-weapons plants were evacuated as Russian troops entered Ukraine. Civilian casualties in Ukraine have so far been relatively low -because the Ukrainian public are irrelevant to the Russian strategic goals. Russia is not at war with Ukraine, but with NATO, and everyone with a functional brain knows it.

Why on earth would Russia permit the USA to erect and maintain over a dozen bio-weapons laboratories INSIDE Ukraine itself? Such weapons are -we were once told- justification for total war against countries on the other side of the planet, let alone on your own border. In 2003 America/NATO reduced Iraq to a heap of smouldering rubble on the flimsy excuse of non-existent 'chemical weapons'. But the actual chemical-weapons labs America built in Ukraine are a matter of historical fact -and have been public knowledge since 2017. [SEE THIS]

Was Putin seriously expected to ignore the NATO missile-bases inserted into Poland? Those installations are a stone's throw from the north-west border of Ukraine. Every last one of the Kremlin's analyists could foresee what was coming next - a NATO-infested Ukraine with every form of hi-tech weaponry lined up right on the Russian frontier. It's time to admit that World War Three is already underway -with Ukraine as ground zero. The arms -and more importantly the money -pouring into Kiev have pushed the conflict to tipping point. American 'military advisors' are already swarming behind the Ukrainian lines -explaining, presumably, which buttons to push on the hi-tech killing devices supplied by BAE, Lockheed and Raytheon. Miltary advisors...that phrase should ring a doleful bell for any readers old enough to remember Vietnam.

BODY COUNT

But the campaign about to commence will not be jungle warfare. Nor will it be a numbers game of massed battles between gun-toting 'grunts' and slant-eyed Commies. So why then, readers may ask, is Putin's introduction of conscription a pivotal moment? The answer is simple. Like the western Europeans they increasingly resemble, the Russian public is largely jaded, lazy and indifferent -although quite aware they are pawns in a game being played above their heads.

The fact remains that when the military 'reserves' are summoned from their day-jobs and thrust into uniform, the mood of any country undergoes an abrupt change. Every conscripted soldier has a mother/father/ brother/sister/son or daughter -and cousins, friends and neighbours. When you enlist the bodies of 300,000 you enlist the hearts of millions. Up until now, the average Russian was probably less enthused about the Ukraine bunfight than the twitter-brained Brits with their blue and yellow virtue-ribbons. But those days are gone. From here on, every last Russian knows it's a fight to the death; that's how they roll.

Although conscription is -in the context of 2022- a primarily a psychological manoeuvre, it's importance should not be underestimated. The modern Russian may be jaded but could never be complacent. The unspoken message behind Putin's announcement was clear as day to his countrymen: prepare for mass casualties. And Russian casualties are -by grim tradition- always the highest. Putin has thus engaged the desirable mindset of his own population -but the secondary purpose of conscripting 300,000 new troops was directed at an international audience.

Putin was unsubtly addressing the war-mongers pulling the levers of NATO, and his unspoken message was crystal clear to them, too. Until and unless NATO gets off her doorstep, Russia will sacrifice as many millions as it takes. Russia will endure -and by any means necessary. When the dust settled on the ruins of Berlin, the victory had cost Russia twenty-seven million lives.

Which rather begs the question -how many millions is NATO planning to sacrifice? It's very easy for the armchair generals in Fleet Street to insist the Russian dictator is 'bluffing'. At some point quite soon, the people of Britain and America will realise who is really under attack and where this game of atomic poker is headed. I wonder how many Ukraine flags, stickers and ribbons are decorating houses near the nuclear submarine base at the Holy Loch?

I'm in Lincolnshire at the moment, close by various military airbases and installations.  As I write these words, RAF fighter-jets are roaring overhead, staging elaborate dog-fights. It might be my imagination, but this week they seem to be flying a little closer to the ground.
