US Soldiers Killed in Ukraine- Open War?

Is America finally at war with Russia? It's hard to deny. Buried in the snakepit of propaganda they call "latest news from Ukraine" are the bodies of an unknown number of American military personnel. Yet stories of dead US "advisers" and "contractors" are everywhere -that is, everywhere the BBC, CNN & SKY refuse to go. There is, however, more media than can be controlled -and various sources say the USA is back-pedalling fast from the east-european hellscape it has created.

Nothing turns the tide of war faster than a telling-off from the bank -and that's exactly what the Biden  regime has been getting. The easy money -cash for missiles, rockets, tanks, guns, ammo etc- has already been divvied up among the usual Washington insiders. From here on the Ukraine adventure needs imaginary dough (money-printing) all the way to hyper-inflatiion, and plenty of Wall Street vultures are already hovering over the White House. This lost war will, naturally, be hung around the neck of the next President, whose name will be known in a mere six months.

Details of the 'alleged' hypersonic missile attack on Lvov are still in dispute -although the attack itself cannot possibly be denied. In the non-western account, Russia launched Kinzhal missiles at a secret NATO command centre buried 100 metres underground. Chosen because it was invulnerable to conventional attack, it is alleged that senior NATO and Ukranian miltary staff became careless: "Sometimes dozens of cars gathered at the entrance to the headquarters even in broad daylight." Apparent confirmation of this story came from Greece of all places. According to the Greek portal ProNews, which is close to the Greek ministry of defense, “dozens of foreign officers were killed” when the Kinzhal missiles hit the secret facility. This was “a disaster for NATO forces in Ukraine.”   

 

However, Newsweek -a notorious globalist rag- described these claims "baseless", while admitting that yes, on March 9th, Russian Kinzhal missiles did hit 'the area including Lvov'. Why the Russians would waste super-expensive hi-tech kit like Kinzhals on anything less than a major Command Centre is a question Newsweek neither asked nor answered.   

 

WARZONE TOURISM?

Russian missiles target "a restaurant" in Kramatorsk, Ukraine. Casulties include 50 Ukrainian officers (two of them generals) and at least twenty dead "westerners". This particular venue was well-known -part of a large hotel complex notoriously patronised by "military-age" American males, some with identifiable service tattoos e.g. 3rd Ranger Battalion. These details came together piecemeal from 'non-official sources'-often from Twitter accounts/blogs of locally-embedded writers, citizen journalists etc and were therefore dismissed as 'not credible' by mainstream media. (The same media that told you Russia destroyed its own billion-dollar gas pipeline. To read our coverage of that ridiculous lie CLICK HERE). However, eye-witness accounts of groups of English-speaking armed men on the premises abound on social media from every side of the conflict. Furthermore, Polish and Icelandic news media reported the Kramatorsk casulaties as hard facts -although neither country is subject to Russian influence. 

 

It's no secret that plenty of American mercenaries have re-located from relatively tame "security" gigs in Iraq to the high-octane climes of Ukraine, where wages can be four times the size you get for "Green Zone" patrols in Baghdad. It's also true that certain dark branches of the US military are happy to employ ex-grunts to do undertake missions regular soldiers would refuse. The temptation -for professional killers- is that in the last ditch, disobeying orders costs only dollars, not your whole career or your life. These desperados who choose to back their own judgement are payed by results. In the context of a Ukrainian army reduced to barely-trained conscripts with no real stomach for the fight, such men are highly prized -and rewarded. 

 

Less easy to conceal is the presence of squads of "trainers" - expert professional servicemen from Poland, Germany, Britain and the USA- without whom much of the top-end weaponry shovelled into Ukraine is worthless, as the ill-equipped undertrained conscripts are often incapable of operating modern systems. America, it seems, is already up to its neck in 'human resources' for President Zelensky's fantasy war with the Russian behemoth.

On the ground, morale among those American "military advisers" who are allowed to speak is not inspiring. Sample this quote from one serving soldier in early July: Troy Offenbecker a veteran of three wars-  told the Daily Beast- “You’re getting fucking smashed with artillery, tanks. Last week I had a plane drop a bomb next to us, like 300 meters away. It’s horrifying shit.”Tellingly, no official 'spokesman' popped up at a press-conference to contradict Troy's account. Domestically, the omens from the marginalised/censored press are not good. When writers like Eve Ottenburg start appearing in dedicated leftie publications like Counterpunch to tell readers " never doubt that Americans have been in Ukraine since the start of this war..." the groundwork is being laid for a tactical retreat.  

JOIN THE ARMY

Retreat, unfortunately, is something the Ukranian dictator Zelensky will not countenance. Indeed, he seems determined to fight to the last man standing (excepting himself, obviously). So, with the vast majority of its trained soldiers dead or wounded, Ukraine's conscription program is an increasingly gruesome affair. 

Most of the last men standing (in civilian clothes) are understandably reluctant to participate in unwinnable skirmishes that amount to little more than suicide missions. But war is business and the show must, apparently, go on. Evidence is emerging of armed Ukranian press-gangs throwing youngsters into vans or dragging reluctant victims from their homes,  cars and public transport. Not that the BBC will tell you, of course. However, four short, disturbing videos of Zelensky's thuggish enforcers in action surfaced this weekend on the Hungarian News site Magyar Nemzet, and can be viewed by clicking HERE.   There's just too much media to control nowadays.

 

NOTHING TO SEE HERE

 

Despite the input of honest scribes like Eve Ottenberg, thus far not a single homecoming body has been seen on US TV. No neatly pressed stars & stripes on the coffins; no 21-gun salutes at air force bases. No solemn Presidential speech of thanks and regret for the 'noble sacrifice'. 

 

But this can only be a matter of time. Sooner or later someone's well-connected family is going to demand a visible, public recognition. At that point, the game will change -for better or worse. If the short-term finance goblins have their way (and they usually do) the war will be quickly  re-branded, the borders re-drawn and another painful defeat taken on the chin by the good ol' Yoo Ess of A. Think Syria, think Afghanistan.

 

On the other hand, if the chickenhawk psychopaths in Washington win the backstage argument, America will declare open war on the Putin regime. Translation: the next step would be battlefield nukes -and where that leads only Satan knows. Meanwhile America's proxy war on Russia continues in semi-secret, with discreetly buried bodies, a blanket of censorship and battle-weary mercenaries checking out escape routes to neighbouring countries. It's not yet open war -and let's pray it stays that way.
